Dott. Vladimiro Lanza
The research project, presented by Dr. Vladimiro Lanza entitled : “Molecular characterisation of osteogenic progenitor cells for application in tissue engineering”, is significant for its innovation in the field. Indeed, stem cells will be used in clinical applications. The use of stem cells will allow an approach, which is at present one of the frontiers in biomedical research. Moreover, the proposed study will investigate phenotypic markers of osteogenic progenitor cells. So far, the absence of this information represents a major obstacle in limiting the potential applications of stem cells in the clinical field. The proposed project appears well present ... continua >>
